I have never felt the pain of gout but based on the testimony above i guess its really very painful, that you'd prefer the pain of getting stabbed than gout? :)

I am suffering from gouty arthritis since 8 years. It used to get sudden attacks of severe pain in the joints, more commonly in the big toe. The pain used to be unbearable. My doctor advised me to use Generic Colchicine immediately after the first sign of pain and swelling in the joint. After I started using this medicine, the symptoms are under control.
